What if I already have the pattern you are offering this month? 
    If you already have the pattern offered for the month, you may a.) download it as a gift for a "beady" friend, b.) skip thatmonth, or c.) make special arrangements by emailing me to have a different pattern of MY choosing of equal or lesser value.

If I get my 13 ladies of my beading group to come on board to your web ring, then we can all legally do your work can't we? May we? (Thank you, Gilly, for this question!)
    By all means! In fact, I hope you will get as many friends and acquaintances as you can to join the program.  You know what they say--word of mouth advertising is the very best kind! This is a means for me to get more paying customers at my site and to introduce new site visitors to me and my techniques.  If you belong to a LARGE club or group (more than 25 members), and they would all like to join, we can work out a special group rate which will be beneficial to them, as well as giving me a little extra income. I am not one of those designers who believes you should ONLY bead my designs for your own private use and I am the only one who should get any profit.  I am interested in promoting beadwork and educating the WORLD on what goes into the art! I firmly believe you should be able to sell designs of mine you made, as long as you give me credit for the design and help me promote myself. You can even teach my techniques as long as you make sure your students know they are my techniques!

When will membership dues be payable again?   Membership dues will be renewable EACH JANUARY.  I will NOT offer a prorated membership to those who come into the program LATE, BUT all 12 months' patterns, tutorials and other group perks will be available on the group ALL YEAR and until the new membership begins in 2009.

What other benefits are you offering to members? 

       Support, should you get into a situation where you don't understand a pattern or a technique.  I always offer this to all my customers, of course, but members will have the benefit of priority attention, should several questions arise at the same time.
    First privilege of telling me what kinds of new patterns you are interested in seeing, or what you think I am missing when I make my designs. Am I neglecting something? (I know I am short on peyote designs, for example and I have never done a RAW pattern . . . what else?)
    Secret discounts no one else gets and special "buy one, get one free" offers.
    Insiders' newsletter with answers to your specific questions and concerns in addition to the regular Legendary News newsletter.
    Special birthday pattern for FREE each year, if you provide your birthday information to me.
    Membership in a invitation only Yahoo group (or similar) for additional feedback and support, as well as a place to share the beadwork you have made, my designs or others'.
    Personalized attention and encouragement to those of you who would like to get into selling patterns for your own designs, and special kudos for those who have already taken the plunge. Free links to your website, if you don't have a link already on my links page . . . and assistance in creating a banner ad to display your work and get it seen!
    Free advertising in the Legendary News for your designs, website or special interest items (like my book plugs--only they will be what YOU are interested in, or are doing).

You mentioned other great plans for the year. Can I have a hint what you are up to?
    1. Shopping cart with instant download . . . this is a biggie for me and I am not sure yet exactly how to pull it off, but I will be learning in my spare time how to do it so I can offer it to my customers (with trying to write and keep up with making new designs, my website updates and the newsletter, spare time is pretty scarce right now!).  It may take a while, but I think it will be worth the effort.  I will begin by setting up my most popular designs first and see where that leads. Members will have a chance to say what they would like to see available first, as well as getting a discount on those patterns.
    2. Presentation tutorials (animated with pictures and instructions) on how I do what I do and how to make a pattern using only a word processor such as Word Perfect or Word. This is another thing I will be working on that will be a learning experience for me, so it will take some time to set it up and get it going. Once I do, these tutorials will be available for purchase on DVD. Members will get a discount off whatever I charge, and quantity order discounts for groups will apply.
    3. Kits are a possibility, too, but I will need feedback as to which kits you would like to see and what's important to you in a kit. Do you buy kits, or are you too advanced to need one? Would you like to buy a kit for a friend?
    4. A co-op where we could get together our wish lists and order beads in quantities to receive discounts on materials.  This is in the early stages of thinking and I am not sure how it would work yet, so I would love input on this one, too. Is it feasible, for example? Would you be interested in ordering for less through a co-op, even though it might take longer to get your beads?
    5. More ideas are on their way, but right this minute, I am fresh out of bed without my breakfast--LOL I need some brain food!
